The Coming of Christmas

Christmas comes but once a year....

Tradition... memories.... they all come with it.

Learning to count your blessings, no matter the course of events,
is a harder lesson to learn than one would have thought.

Here's wishing you the merriest Christmas you've ever had,
not only a blessed Christmas, but a grateful one.

A Sudden Whirlwhind

Our performance on Friday took us farther than we would ever have dreamed.  With the invitation to follow Sheriff Mack to Fredericksburg, TX, and sing there, our lives were suddenly whirled into unexpected adventure.  We went.  We performed.  We were blessed beyond measure.

And... there is a possible performance in April.  Very possible, I may say.  When I have confirmation on that I will post the date and location here.

On a side note, for those of you who heard us in Fredericksburg, and requested a CD, I must sadly inform you that we have none.  As of Friday, we had never done this kind of performance before, and are thrilled that so many people enjoyed the result of all our labors.

We have been on stage before, but it was with our family's music group, "The Great Interference".  We write and perform original songs with a feel of acoustic, folksy, rock.  For more information, click here.  We do have an album for The Great Interference.  You can hear some of the songs, and buy the CD, if you would like, at The Great Interference blog.

So, for now, while we have no hard copy of the music of  The Ramsey Sisters to offer you, buy yourself an original Andrews Sisters album, and listen to your heart's content.

May you all be ever so blessed,

An Introduction

The Ramsey Sisters have loved old fashioned music since a young age, the jazzy tunes of the 1930's and 1940's, the artistic quality of the vocal tones, all the wonderful harmonies that make each song so special...  The Ramsey Sisters have been singing these songs together as long as they can remember.  Studying the intricate harmonies and blending their voices in that wonderful old fashioned way has become their focus in re-creating the jazz-age music.

Come and hear them!...

March the 13, 2008
The Winnsboro City Auditorium, Winnsboro TX

And so, we would like to introduce...
