On the Stage Again

The day began with sponge curlers tied up in a pink scarf...

... coffee on the porch

Sharing the Bible with Dad

...and sponge rollers under a yellow dryer

Deanna's black and white photos to inspire us...

Mother's hands pulling out soft curls

... and more sitting under the yellow dryer! (with a book)

The day ended with white cotton dresses...

and ever so many happy smiles!!!

Thank you to the Tyler Senior Citizens for having us and to Micah Graham for being our lovely narrator!

We hope to be putting our teal and white dresses on again soon!! Please leave us a comment or send an email if you have any questions, or if you are simply interested in us. We'd love to hear from you!

Hello ladies,

I happened upon your blog "A Banner of Crimson" and then discovered your "business" blog. I love it!!!
I love the Andrew Sisters and everything to do with that era, so was tickled to find another group of sisters continuing in the same spirit!

If you don't mind my asking, I was wondering where you got your white dresses from in this post. Or did you sew them? They're sooo pretty!

God bless you!

Thanks for the encouragement! It is greatly appreciated. :) We actually did make our white dresses, out of a lovely white cotton percale, and a collection of vintage patterns. We bought our crinolines on Ebay. They are so much fun to wear!
